Ministers for Youth and their parties from about 20 different countries have visited Unhwa Corp., one of the leading company located in Jeonju, on July 12th. Ministers for Youth have visited Unhwa’s Production Center, located in Jeonbuk Institute for Bioindustry, and toured around the production facility and were introduced with Unhwa’s plant stem cell isolation and culture technology and Corporate’s mission which is to realize the prolonging life.
As Ministers for Youth and their parties were touring around the site of the world’s first plant stem cell production center, they had great interest in Unhwa’s cutting-edge technology which resulted in many questions and they could not conceal their surprise at Unhwa’s high technology of bio-industry.
Minister for Youth from Tanzania, who had visited Unhwa last year, had great interest in Unhwa which made her to revisit Unhwa this year. This resulted in fruitful outcome to have MOU agreement signed between Unhwa and National Institute for Medical Research in Tanzania. One Chancellor of one of the Universities in India stated that he will take the lead in commercialization of this outstanding technology of Unhwa.
Dr. Eun Kyong Lee, a Head of Institute of Unhwa Plant Stem Cell Institute introduced the history of Plant Stem Cell Institute.
Also, musicians from the National Classical Music Institute in Jeonju were invited and played various traditional string instruments and introduced Korean culture.
CEO Jin made a welcoming speech to the global Ministers of Youth and stated that he will work hard to contribute in treating in many diseases in Africa through plant stem cell research.
